Question about Televison & Video

1 Answer

My new lcd is not turning on. I turn the tv on from the switch on the side and the power light comes on for a second and then turns off. I think it maybe a fuse issue but I have tried a different plug socket with the same power cable. Also I have tried a different power cable. Please help this TV has only been on for less than a day! Thanks Jason

Power light keeps blinking Red and TV will not turn on

Is the light blinking constantly or is there a long pause then more blinking. If constant check the lamp door switch . Usually it is broken or jammed. If you jumper it and the set comes on that it. 4 blinks is bad fan.

My tv won"t turn on.

1. Hold [menu] and [vol-] button on the side of the TV
2. while holding these, press the [power] button on the side of TV (NOT remote)
3. blue light comes ON and stays ON
4. wait 10 seconds then let go of [menu] and [vol-]
5. wait another 30 seconds and some type of picture should appear

I think this is right. I got it from the JVC call centers guys so sorry if I missed or messed up a step.

Tv tunrns on then goes to stand by flashes 4 times & repeats

turn tv on picture comes up 2to3 seconds later tv blacks out then stand by red light flashes 4 times in a row repeatedly..can not turn on or off when stand by light starts flashing but before tv blacks out you can turn tv on and off repeatedly and picture and sound work. You have to unplug power cord for 30 seconds after stand by light comes on to get tv to turn on.

Bush lcd tv turned itself off won't come back on

My Olevia LCD TV did the same thing. I turned off the back power switch and pulled the power cord as well. Left off for a couple of minutes and then re-connected cord and turned on main switch. I then turned on the front power switch and it come on just fine. These new sets have computer-like guts so you have to re-boot them sometimes. I hope this works for you.
