Hi!
Could be a couple of things, but it sounds like the tires on the paper roller have worn out.
Like tires on a car, the slightly abbrasive surface of the rubber tires on the paper roller will go smooth over time...causing the rollers to slip on the paper instead of pulling it throuh the printer.
It's a relatively cheap/easy to install part.
You can contact Xerox for the part:
www.xerox.com or other websites such as:
www.sparepartswarehouse.com.
There may also be a local Xerox service centre where you live (most major cities have at least one) & the tires will be a very common part for them.
...If it's not the tires, it could also be the mechanism that lower the roller onto the paper. If this is damaged (or not calibrated correctly) the printer will have problems feeding the paper through as well.
The only easy suggestion here (if you're not comfortable replacing parts yourself) would be to take it to a registered Xerox service centre for maintenance.
Hope this helps!!
