Polaroid i733 I have a Polaroid i733 Digital Camera, and it just stopped working one day. When I press the power button the green light comes on, but the camera does not respond in any other way. Is there something I can do to fix this?

Cameras lens is out but the camera is off. When I power the camera on it beeps three times and shuts off again. I checked the lens to make it even and i heard a snap but still when I turn it on it beeps three times and shuts off. This camera is only 6 months old. I have only used it three times what could be the problem.

I have the same problem listed above.  I can turn  it on and get the lens back in by pressing the play button but when i press the play button again to take pictures it does that same noise as if I was turning it on using the power button.  This was a Christmas gift from my parents and I just want my camera to work.  :  (

  • ruppy12 Oct 16, 2008

Yep!! Hit the power button and the green light comes on then it beeps 3 times and shuts down. My lens is also stuck out. It looks like I'm not alone. Now what do we do? I bought this camera for my daughter last Christmas...I don't think I still have the receipt. :( Someone please help!

Pink Piece of Polaroid Poo! I bought it for my girlfriend last year for her birthday and all of a sudden it just stopped working. When pushing the power button the green light comes on, but for only 1 second. If you listen close you can hear the camera trying to open, but again, no dice.

I have tried several variations of button pushing, changing the batteries and I even tried dropping it! I figured it couldn't hurt! I still get nothing, which is sad because I thought that it was a great camera.

I enjoyed using it so much that I took it to Sturgis for this year's rally and you wouldn't believe how much guff I had to take from a bunch of clown-shoe trailer queens who call themselves bikers! I rode mine! I only wish that I had the pictures to prove it. I stood up for not only myself, but for the Pink Piece of Polaroid Poo!

ANYONE out THERE find a RESET BUTTON or a FIX to this PROBLEM?

  • lisaspihl Nov 21, 2008

The same thing happened to mine!! We were at my sister's wedding & my husband was trying to take a picture of the whole family & it shut itself off. Now I just get the green light & the lense is stuck out. I've replaced batteries too. I missed out on so many wonderful picture moments that night...and many more since. I only had mine for 3 months when this happened. Now I've had it for a total of 6. I do have my receipt, but I don't think they'll take it back....

Odds are your screwed. With the camera off - hold the playback button for a few seconds until the camera turns on. There is a very minimal chance that will actually work. If its still stuck, its time to find your receipt so you can use the one year warranty provided by the manufacturer.

My pictures always come out very dark. I'm not sure if the settings need to be adjusted. I tried adjusting the color but, the pictures are still dark. What should I do?

Hey Ally00,
You can try removing the batteries and cleaning the battery contacts with an eraser. By removing the batteries you will also reset the camera to its default settings, which might also help. If this doesn't work I would have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician such as bringing the camera to a Geek Squad® precinct in a Best Buy™ store, and they can send it out to have it serviced. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan

I have a polaroid i733 digital camera when i go to turn it on a green light...

My Nikon D70 quit working and would only flash a green light. I contacted Nikon and they fixed it, no charge. I was very happy with Nikon for the free repair! If you have this problem, go to the Nikon website and do a search for flashing green light. They cover this problem as a defect and did not ask for any proof of purchase or anything. Very smooth and easy. Thank you Nikon!!!

Polaroid i733 card error

The i733 works with SD cards. Your 8GB card is actually an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it won't work. You need to go with SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

My Polaroid camera i631 won't turn on!!

Here is the solution for your problem. If you look at your camera at an angle, you will see the zoom lens is little bent to the side. I want you to put press on it to snap-it into it's place. After you heard a click, then turn-on your camera. This will fix your cam.

My batteries died in my pink i733 and when it shut down the "zoom lense" did not recede. i put fresh batteries in it but all that happens is that the green light flashes. it wont come on or...

This can sometimes be fixed if you remove the batteries over night and allow the camera to sit and discharge it should correct this problem. hope this helps.
