I have a sunpak ap-200w with a infared remote. I changed batteries and it lost the zoom control but has the pan and tilt. Can you tell me how to regain the zoom control?

I have 2 of these but have NO remote to operate them. I'll give you one of them if I can use YOUR remote to collect the IR code or program a universal remote so I can use the one I'll have remaining.

Do any of you have Follow my face option enabled while trying to use the Pan and Tilt feature? If so, please disable it and try using the Pan and Tilt feature again.

How to test an infared remote control device

How can I tell if my remote is working? You could invest in an infared detector pen or device that will detect the infared signal or you could use a common cellphone with camera mode. Place the phone in camera mode and hold the remote up to the camera lens. By depressing the buttons on the remote now you can actually see the emitted infared light slowed down to a visable light, thereby determining that any or all buttons of the remote are functioning properly.

My Canon T2i battery is about 1/4 to 1/2 down. Can I recharge without creating a memory? I have a Canon RS-60E3 remote switch. Will it work with my T2i? I have a Sun Pak pwer zoom flash that I used...

You don't have to worry about a memory effect with lithium-ion batteries.

Before anyone can tell you whether a Sunpak flash would work with a digital camera, you'll have to tell us the model of the flash. You can try checking for yourself at

I can not get my Sony RM-P501 to control my receiver. It was working perfectly but suddently it does not control the receiver. Seems like it lost the factory programed features

Please check & ensure the infrared is emiting from the remote control. Though we cant see this infrared beam with bare eyes, there is a trick to do so in http://www.unique-stuff.co.cc/fixing_remote_control_check_infrared.html Most of the problems is weakened infared beam. Replace the batteries when needed. Hope this fix the remote control problem.

My tv keeps changing the channels on its own

take out the batteries of all the remotes that are able to change the channel and put a piece of duct tape over the infared reciever and if it still does it, it is most likely defective.

thanks,
Nate

Pan control not fluid when tension increased

Sounds like you might have gotten some dirt trapped under there. You might try to loosen it and blow it clean.
