Hook your digital hd video camera up to your computer, & turn it on. If that dialog
box doesn't appear, open Windows Explorer, and see if it shows up (it
might show up as "Removable Drive"). If so, drag & drop the files
from your camera to your HD.
Green light flashed, turned red, lens would not open. Put in new rechargeable batteries, still nothing. Someone here suggested to try regular AA cheapie batteries. IT WORKED!
turn it on i have one and when i turn it on and its pluggerd in it says mscd but when i unplug it and turn it on it is fully charged i know because the light that flashes is green .....it will not charge if that light is already green
It does not look good.
Here are some problems which could be with this camera:
LCD broken or bad.
CCD problem.
Since you go have some light on the green light, then that appears to
be a LCD problem. this can happen if the camera had an impact to cause
the LCD to be damaged or disconnected in some way.

Playing Back images/Video Clips on TV
You can also playback your images on a TV screen. Before connecting to any device, make sure to
select NTSC/PAL system to match the video output system of the video equipment you are going to
connect to Vivicam 5340s, then turn all connected devices off.
1. Position Vivicam 5340s on the cradle.
2. Match the docking connectors and carefully insert Vivicam 5340s
until it fits in place.
3. Connect one end of the A/V cable to the A/V terminal of the
cradle.
4. Connect the other end to the A/V input socket of the TV set.
5. Turn the TV and Vivicam 5340s on.
6. Playback the still images/video clips.
The method of operation is the same as playing back still
images and video clips on Vivicam 5340s.
I hope this helps:)
