Greetings. I have installed windows 7 in my PC. I tried to install my Mustek scanners (Mustek 1248UB A4) and (Mustek scan express A3) into my PC. but it is not installed. Computer gives me a massage, (this installer is for win98, Mel, 2000 and win xp). So now, please advice if there is any new software for win7 to manually scan the documents and to utilize Mustek scanners. Thanks in advance for your support.

Unfortunately, there is no compatible driver for win 7. THe Mustek support center says the following:
Scanners designed to work with older versions of Windows may not function properly after upgrading your computer's operating system.
If Windows® 7 is not listed on the product driver download page for a specific product, no support is offered for Windows® 7. Newer scanner products available will have support for Windows® 7.

Disconnect scanner from computer, uninstall the software you installed and restart the computer.
Download the latest driver software from: http://www.mustek.com/mustek/Support.php
Install the driver software but do not connect the scanner until the installation prompts you to connect it or when the installation is complete.

and you also have to check if the scanner is compatible with windows 7

Look for the Compatibility mode in the Control Panel, it should be install after you change the settings.

For the Mustek 1248 UB on vista 32 bit go to www.mustek.com then support then in the drop down box select "SCANNER" wait a second or two then, in the series dropdown box select "USB PORT" waiT another second or so and then, in the model drop down box select "A3 1200 PRO" wait a second or two for the page to load the driver list. Scroll down to the driver list and download the vista driver the name of the file is WEB.EXE. unplug your scanner from the computer and double click the driver file which will install in the usual way. Then plug in the scanner and Vista will find the driver.

I could not find the drivers for that but did find them on driverguide.com but you have to subscibe to get the driver i think its like $3.00
