Creative zen problems

The heading for your question says "Creative Zen Vision:M Digital media" I do not think that there was an 8GB Vision M. I have a 30 GB Vision M and I think there was only a 30 and a 60 GB of that model.Perhaps you have another model, and it could be a 20gb, as that what you may be seeing. It will tell you the specs of the model you have. a further search of the site could also answer some of the questions you have about the player.

I am unable to reset my ZEN Vision M player. It will not even connect with my computer and the battery is completely dead. Is there a solution?

You don't have enough room on your drive to do this. I had the same problem. I took all my router ports off and connected just my creative vision player only and it worked. Computer system was over loaded.

if you connect it to a computer and use the zen media explorer there is a format option

Install Windows Media Player 10 or 11.

you reinstall the firmware from the site... Enjoy :)

I have found that it works if I dump all mp3:s in one directory, the freeze only happens if \Music has a lot of subdirectories. Weirdness! The drawback is that synching seems to be a lot slower with all mp3:s in one directory.

tried doing a cleanup, reformatting, and reloading firmware,

you can go to u tube or creative and do the tutorial thing but i have been unable to fins a manual.
