SYMA Toys industrial Syma S018 Air Wolf Picoo Helicopter Brand New 3 Channels Coaxial Rotor Bl Logo
Anonymous Posted on Nov 13, 2010

Hi...I bought a syma s018 rc mini helicopter a week ago and it was working great but now, when i fully charge it, it doesn't have enough power to lift off the ground. Is my battery defective? It seems to run well, it just won't rev up enough to fly.

Hi...I posted this problem and have found the solution so I thought I would post it to help others. After taking the whole darn thing apart with a magnifying glass, I figured out that due to a crash or two, the shaft for the lower blades had popped out. The blades would still spin but just from friction. Just pinch the machine body and push down on the whole blade shaft assembly and you will feel a pop as it goes back in, then you will find the thing revs up again and does not spin out of control because the lower blades are now rotating properly. Happy flying...

I believe the Syma S018 is the same as my Yiboo UJ417.
Mine never got off the ground out after charging for an hour.
It just skitters along the ground. Must be a bad battery. Returning it if I can.

Lack of power after charge

If your Brookstone Stunt Copter RC helicopter is not getting enough power after being charged, there could be a few different issues that could be causing this. Here are a few things you can try:
Make sure the battery is fully charged: It's possible that the battery was not charged for a long enough period of time, so make sure the battery is fully charged before trying to fly the helicopter again.
Check the battery connections: Make sure the battery is properly connected to the helicopter and that the connections are clean and free of corrosion.
Try a different battery: If the issue persists, try using a different battery to see if that resolves the problem.
Check the transmitter: Make sure the transmitter is properly charged and functioning.
Check the helicopter's Motor: Check the helicopter's motor to ensure it is working properly. If the motor is not working, the helicopter will not have enough power to fly.
Check the helicopter's circuit: Check the helicopter's circuit, if any of the circuits is damaged, it may cause the helicopter to lose power.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it is possible that the helicopter may be defective and require repair or replacement. In that case, contact Brookstone customer support for further assistance.

S107 RC Helicopter making a high pitched whine when used

If the gears are meshing properly and the rotors are not spinning very fast then the motor shaft is slipping in the hub of the first gear.

Hi, my syma s107 worked great for many flights, still has about 7 minute flight time but not getting any altitude.thinking motor wear? any suggestions.thanks

Very important with these motors and the batteries is a solid 5-10 minute rest after charging and after flying. Make sure the shaft is fully seated. Push it down firmly (but gently) both above and below bottom rotor.

Let me know if this doesn't help.

I have 3 s107 and I it says 3 channel on the box and the transmitter says A B C but will only let me select 2 of them. What's the trick on flying 3 at the same time?

Mine's exactly the same as yours. Although the transmitter shows A B C the switch has only two positions, so there's a choice of two only. I doubt it's possible to fly 3 at the same time.

How do you charge the mini ah 64

Turn the remote over and look for the sliding door on the back bottom right (it has a circle and some arrows on it, push in the direction of the arrows) the cable is under this door. Then connect that cable to the helicopter by plugging it into the white slot next to the on/off switch.
