The mechanical section which consists of the tape cartridge and VHS-C tape plain has a timing misalignment. Check the inside for possible obstructions of the tape guides not fully sending the tape to the heads - sometimes it gets stuck. It will likely need to be taken apart to resolve the issue.

My Moultrie I40 seems to be stuck in set up mode. won't advance to Auto. test button brings back error 4800. Tried calling their customer service, no matter what extension i select i just get hung up on.

what does battery % say? twice this prob was solved by using good brand new bats; might try removing bats with cam on; turn cam off; replace bats and power up. Wait until setup screen is on before pressing mode.

E03 safegaurd mode remove and replace battery? how can you fix problem? I have removed battery several times and get the same error code. (RCA CC9370 digital camcorder.)

Make sure there is no tape jammed in the mechanism anywhere and carefully clean around the whole tape compartment with cotton buds and isopropyl alcohol to remove any dust and debris, particularly on the opto sensors for read/write and tape present. If this does not solve the problem, try a different tape and if it does not solve the problem then you will need to get it serviced. This is a real pain problem in JVC’s and Panasonics and servicing (which may be costly) or scrapping is the only resolution.

Take the battery out and leave it somewhere cool (not cold - over 10 degrees C) for 24 hours - this may help.

JVC GR-DX67EK MINI DIGITAL VIDEO CAMERA

Previously, when I have experienced this problem, I have removed the battery for 24 hrs and on replacement switched the Camcorder to (M) and quickly pressed the "Menu" button. This has allowed me to scroll down the menu options to the Cam Reset option. Then I reset the camera and all is well. This has worked for the last 3 to 4 occasions, however, this time I cannot get the menu to stay on long enough to reset the camera. Any ideas?

This error is defined as [E03].

However, no REEL EMG is detected in the
