Woods makes 13660 outdoor photoelectric timer.
Intermatic makes same timer HB61RC

General instructions are:
Plug timer into receptacle.
Push on-off button to set timer.
5 possible settings:
F always OFF
O Always ON
Choose1-9 for ON at dusk and OFF 1-9 hours later as set
Choose D for ON at dusk, OFF at Dawn
Choose 1.-9. for ON right now, OFF 1-9 hours later as set
