Transfer belt mark detection error
• The main motor is operating; and
the lock signal is detected. → The
belt mark sensor signal does not
change for 120 milliseconds.
• Defective main motor
• Image transfer belt out of position
• Belt mark blurred or absent
I would remove the pcu unit (3 screws)and check the transfer assy belt mark and clean the sensor that reads the belt mark. Worst case senerio is replaceing the entire pcu unit.
This is a Corona cleaning unit error. You either need to get the issue with the corona cleaning unit fixed or have a service technician turn off the automatic cleaning function. SP Mode 2 801 3 (technican will know what this code means) I can not tell you how to do this as you can total mess up the machine if the service mode is not used properly. Turning off the cleaning will solve the error code. Technician can clean the coronas himself on service calls so automatic cleaning is not required.
This SC code relates to the charge corona cleaner not working or not working properly. the charge corona is located towards the bottom left of the machine after opening the front cover. It will have a screw you can undo by hand and a cable with an end like a telephone cable plug. toner may have fallen in to the unit or the motor that drives the cleaner along the wires has decided to jam up. remove the charge corona and blow it out with compressed air. You can also remove the end of the unit and check that the motor is not gummed up. Be very careful you do not break the hair thin corona wires! Hope this helps.
