Ir1600 copier displayed system error E000, therefore the copier couldn't operate

First you need to clear that error from service mode. If problem persist replace the fixing unit

if you want to know what this is the error code is related to

click start control panel administrative tools computer management then select event viewer this may vary depending on what operating system you have

extend the events there you will see errors in red you will no what exactly what the error was and at what time it occured

you might be able work your way through the problem

E000, stands for temperature error in fixing section, because thermistor can't detect proper temperature.
You can try to reset error in service mode.
press Additional functions key ( * )
press # on numeric keypad
by arrow RIGHT go to No. 12 CLEAR
press OK
by arrow go to ERR
press OK
Turn off and on again

If after this, copier still not working, this means that you need to change thermistor or fixing heater lamp!

fuser has failed to reach operating temp within 20sec. Fuser lamp is most likely blown or you are using machine below 10-15~c ambient temp.

E000 indicates a low temperature problem in the fuser unit.

• Check the fuser for any jammed paper and remove it
  

Check and replace with spare part if needed:

• the thermo lamp,
• the thermistor in the fuser unit

A code reset is needed:

1. Press ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS, #
2. Go to #7 PRINTER, press OK
3. Go to #4 PRINTER RESET, press OK
4. YES = (*)
5. Power cycle the unit.

1- bad thermistor
2-bad thermofuse
3-bad fuser lamp

Note: To reset E000, E001, E002, E003, go to service mode 4. select SET, go to "#7 PRINT-ER," in service mode. Then press Execute "#4 PRINTER RESET." Power the unit off/on.
