Hey chellz,
You can most likely get the LCD screen on your camera replaced, but I will say that digital camera repairs often exceed the value of the camera. It wouldn't hurt to get an estimate done though. To get an estimate done you could bring it to a Geek Squad® precinct in a Best Buy™ store and they can send it out to get an estimate done. I hope this helps!

You can buy a replacement LCD and change it your self. Check Ebay..search for LCD display # TD025THEE7.

Hi, if you want you can replace the Screen in low coast. But i like to say its depend on you r country. But if you think in casual way then a new camera always higher price than a camera parts. So i suggest you visit a service center and tell them for replace your camera screen. It will cost approx 25 - 50 USD. Thanks & waiting for your feedback.

I have a 6 month old Ricoh R8 camera cracked screen

I would send camera away to be fixed since its only new let the profesionals replace it. tell them when you got it the screen was cracked . Up there for thinking, down there for dancing as they say

I am sorry to tell no there is no easy fix. Longest it is still works, you can use it if you don't mind the cracked. About the time you replace the screen on the camera you will have the same amount of money wrap up into a new.

WHITE SCREEN LOOKS CRACKED

It is a crack and it's the result is the LED going out. ok so if you had this camera for more than 2 years... most likely a new one would be cheaper. If it's been bought not so long ago, a new LED screen wouldn't be overpriced.

If you are comfortable with your camera then you go with replacement of the screen .

If you feel your not satisfied with the features then go with new camera

Polaroid screens are generally expensive. It would probably be cheaper to buy a new camera altogether.

However, having said that, please check around the repair shops for a quote first, before you decide to buy a new one..

My screen is cracked

The camera will still work fine. The screen is only for framing your pictures and reviewing them. It will be hard to take pictures that way. Just get a new camera. It will be cheaper than repairing the screen.
