We bought our DVR 1200 7 months ago and it was working fine until we wanted to watch a VCR yesterday so i unpluged the A/V cable and pluged it into the VCR we watched the movie and i took the A/V cable and pluged it back into the DVR and i tryed to turn it on with the remote and the remote would not respond i ran to a store and bougth a new battery and it still wouldn't work. so we messed around with the wires for a while and nothing. i unpluged the power cord and pushed the open/close button and it turned itself off it didn't do anything the front display was blank. what do i do?!? also with the remote?
Sounds like the power supply---open and check the power supply for bulged caps--replace those
