Just got a TEAC sr-L100 cd player/radio, etc., and it played the first cd fine, but has not worked since. It attempts to read the cds, but then fails and says "no disk." The disks work fine in other players.
I have a c.d player that I bought in July. I've had it for about 3 months. Last week, I tried to play one of my c.d's, but it keeps saying "no disk". It comes on and loads but it always read "No Disk". I really don't want to buy a new one. So can you tell me what I can do to fix it.
Thank you!

The problem of "'no discs'"displayed is in the mechanism in the roller thats moving back and port bringing the lense set .The old grease thier is already hardened that cause the problem.Clean that by using a lighter fluid or like that fluid to take the old grease, and put it with a new one first class grease type-A grease put only a little grease and wipe the lense with a cotton buds without any chemicals on it .Try this solution so performance will be better.
Imay be alittle green but where do you put the grease is this the door that goes up and down your refering toor which is the rollerImay be alittle green but where do you put the grease is this the door that goes up and down your refering toor which is the roller

The "set time" button on my SR-L100 is located inside the CD compartment. To set the time the unit needs to be in the standby mode. Press and hold the set time button until the time blinks, then use the tuning/clock adj. dial to set it. Hope this helps!
To set the alarm on the TEAC SLR 100: Be sure the radio is set to off or standby. Hold down the BUTTON for the alarm you wish to set (#1 or #2) until the TIME ON THE DISPLAY begins flashing. Use the TUNER/CLOCKSET DIAL to change the display to the time you wish the alarm to go off. pRESS THE ALARM BUTTON BRIEFLY TO RETURN TO NORMAL OPERATION.
clean your eject button or check it 2 see if it is broke. if u have a remote try 2 play a cd with the cd player with the batterys out of the remote. last 1. the cd door could be off trak witch wood make the cd off balance when the eye goes 2 read the data on the disk it misses its data an will cause your cd player 2 open.
Open CD Cover. In the left rear is the time set button. Depress it for at least 3 seconds and you will be in the time set mode. Use the "Skip" rotary knob to adjust the time.
