Mouse problems PC version COD4: I have a microsoft 'wire' mouse. The mouse control is all over the place when I move. I have been in the control window in the game to adjust the mouse but it's of no use. Is there another solution? Thx Newbie "Mighty Mom" I just installed a Call of Duty 4 game into my PC running Vista. And the installation was successful. But when I tried to play the game my computer travel mouse keeps moving slow in the game even if you wanted to turn right/left or look up and down. And when I go to the control setting it does the same thing where the mouse pointer goes slow. View Sonic MU209 Cordless Travel Mouse

Logitech G502 Proteus Core
With a comfortable shape, textured grips and 11 big, programmable buttons in a convenient layout, the Logitech G502 Proteus Core has a great feel and stellar performance, and is the best overall gaming mouse on the market today. The device isn't specialized for any one genre, but it handles FPS, RTS, MMO or anything in between with grace and aplomb. Users can adjust the Proteus Core's weight and set its scroll wheel to feel either resistant or almost frictionless. The Logitech Gaming Software can even scan your computer for games and automatically create profiles to fit them.

Take a q-tip and wipe the optical lens being careful not to apply pressure against the lens. This may or not help. Worth a try. Bud

I have an Asus 1201N netbook and my mouse stopped working. Windows starts correctly and I can navigate through the Windows 7 Start panel with my keyboard but the mouse does not respond. What am I to...

Don't think it could be a mouse driver problem since you already said that it stopped working which meant that the mouse was in fact working before under Windows 7 on your netbook. Based on this, here are some suggestions to resolve your unresponsive mouse problem. Basically, you are trying to determine if the problem is due to the mouse or due to the netbook....
1. If you have a wireless mouse, did you try replacing its battery with a new battery?
If the wireless mouse now works with the new battery, your problem is resolved.
2. If you have another laptop, did you try moving the unresponsive mouse to try it there?
If the mouse also does not work on the other laptop, then suspect the mouse is faulty.
3. If you have another mouse, preferably a wired one, did you try it on your Asus 1201N?
If the replacement mouse works on the Asus 1201N, then suspect original mouse is faulty.
4. Finally, just an observartion, the Windows 7 mouse driver expects a Microsoft mouse and if you click on Control Panel > Mouse, the Mouse Properties window will say No Microsoft USB Mouse Detected but this should not prevent the use of any generic mouse.

I am having problem with arranging of sheet in a excel work book which is shuffled

Hello,

All you need to do is to "click and drag" each sheet to the position you want it.

Left click with your mouse on the sheet title you want to move, but do not let go of the mouse button. Hold it down. Now move the mouse to the left or right. When you are in the position you want it, (there will be a small black arrow pointing down to aid in where you want it) simply let go of the mouse button. The sheet will drop into place.

Thanks for using Fixya.

Wireless controller is constantly moving down

One of two things. First, when you turn on the power, do not have anything pressing against the joysticks. It will sometimes cause the problems you are describing. If that is not the case, I would assume you got something stuck under it or spilt something on it. Good luck.

Razer Diamondback turning on and off

acually, your problem is windows updates, I am using vista, and I have a Razer Copeprhead, I had similar problems as you, my mouse was working fine, but an update for the Razer Auto-Installed from Windows Update, which made my mouse start doing it. First it happened on my computer, now it happened on my dad's laptop, I first assumed the internal connection was damaged, so I was beating my mouse to death....CoD4 with mouse failure = ANGRY RAMPAGE! lol. So yea what it is is you have to COMPLETELY uninstall your drivers, then connect the mouse and re-install drivers, there ya go done!
