Same problem - any clue on what the internal reset code was?
If you have the manual you can look at the back for troubleshooting. The problem or solution will depend on if the lights are blinking and what color they are. The manual can be found here. You will want the basic operations manual.

I just had a XJ- S41 projector in for repair because it wouldn't power on. The power light was red solid but the temp and lamp lights were blinking red. Apparently a reset was needed, but I was told it was an internal reset that had to be done be a technician. I'm dubious of this info as I've seen some reset procedures listed on this site that may have worked, but I can't confirm as I sent it in. It cost $45 plus shipping to have Casio do this reset and there was nothing wrong with the projector or any parts replaced. Casio wouldn't tell me exactly what reset procedure was done and they will not let you speak with a technician or even try and get more info for you. Using their online repair service though was easy and swift. Just go to www.ecasiorepair.com.
SOURCE: lamp and temp lights come on after power up and stay on. Lamp only has 330 hours on it.
OK, that explains it. The bulb you have installed in the projector might be the original bulb that came with the projecoter when it was new. Just becuase it states 334 hours does not mean it is new. In fact, you could have a original bulb with 3000 hrs and reset the hour timer on the projector, which means your 3000 hour bulb might have 3334 hours on it because the person who owned it before you, reset the hour timer.. Best bet, buy a new bulb and reset the hour meter and see what happens. If you have the same problem, then your ballest might needs to be replace which is rare...
SOURCE: the projector doesn't turn on.power, temp, lamp orange light are on
overheated. clean it out with canned air. try again. if it still has an issue, you may have a main board problem.
