Hi
The washer is detecting error while it enters wash cycle. You can try and enter the diagnostic mode & check if it resolves the issue. If it doesn't then you would need check for the fault codes.
To enter Diagnostic Mode turn the power on at the power point and off at the console. Press and hold the WASH TEMPERATURE DOWN then press the POWER button. Smartdrive will give 2 short beeps. Phase 1 & 2 Only press ADVANCE button once.
From Diagnostic mode press the SPIN buttons until the HOLD and SLOW SPIN LEDs are on, (Diagnostic mode level 3). The WASH PROGRESS LEDs will now display the fault code.
Hope this helps... Please post back if you need further assistance.
Daniel
Yes post back with the light code
Yeah....I know what these binary nos. mean :) I just wanted to know what LEDs are on....anyways this seems like a motor fault and it should be replaced
Great :))

As I stated before, when I put the washer in diagnostics mode, I don't get an error code when the HOLD and SLOW SPIN LEDs are on. Some of the LEDs are lit when different SPIN mode lights are on. Are they some other error code? I can send you those messages if they mean anything, but again, there is no error code when I put the washer in the normal Diagnostic mode.
Since I don't know what means what or anything, here the full list of diagnostic codes with the corresponding combination of spin speed lights:
No spin speed lights on: 00000101
Slow light only: 00011000
Hold light only: 00111111
Medium light only: 00000000
Slow + Hold: 00000000
Medium + Hold: 10100000
Medium + Slow: 00000110
Medium + Slow + Hold: 00111111
Fast Only: 00010101 alternates with 00010101
Fast + Slow: 00000111
Fast + Slow + Hold: 00000000
Fast + Medium: 00000010 alternates with 00000011
Fast + Medium + Hold: 00110101
Fast + Medium + Slow: 00100111
Fast + Hold: 01100100
Fast + Medium + Slow + Hold: 00000000
Sorry for the binary. Please let me know if I need to double check any of these codes or get to some other mode that I'm not aware of...
I figured out the problem. It seems that when the movers installed the washer and dryer, they hooked up the cold and hot water lines backwards. I guess the beeps were supposed to be telling me that their was hot water going through the cold water line (is there a thermocouple somewhere?) or cold water going through the hot water line or something. It would be nice to have gotten an error code on what to check, but I guess since the washer was working properly, it felt no need to generate a fault code. Thank you for your patience and have a nice day.
When everything seems to be fine, sometimes the obvious thing to check seems the least obvious! Of course why would they have a fault code for user error? I'm just glad to have this problem fixed. I can't believe the water lines have been backwards for months!
