No volume t.v. works great except there is no external volume, the headphones do work when they are plugged in. model is konka 2100um

my samsung has it on the back 3.5 but it is for external speakers with external amp.plug in headphones very little volume.tv volume will not work when switched to ext.speaker. note this is the way mine works if yours is the same by an adapter with a 3.5 end and 2 rca plugs on the end plug them into the in on the cd player etc.

Audio output final is blown. I hope it is not an IC.

You can plug in headphones but you need an adapter. Also, not all headphones will work well with this TV. You should get headphones with in-line volume control. Then connect the headphone 3.5 mm M to a 3.5 mm F to dual RCA (1/4") M/M adapter. Then use the TV audio menu to turn off the TV speakers and enable the external speakers. Note the TV volume control will not effect the headphone volume.

External speakers for your laptop are very easy to hook up. They should plug right in to the external speaker outlet on the laptop. Your acer 4520 has a Headphone/speaker/line-out jack with S/PDIF support. First you need to check all your volume levels within the control panel (located in the sounds and devices folder) to make sure they are up. This solve your problem. Thanks for visiting Fixya.com. Sounds like plugging the external speakers in has damage the spot were the headphones go in. If this is under warranty that bring it to apple store.

You would need to replace the headphone socket then and if I am correct it should be mounted to a plug in board. I first need the model number of your Samsung to look up the part number. The model will be on a sticker on the side and will be something like HTP50***/XAA or something like that.
