Artificial light is a different colour than daylight. Our eyes compensate, so we don't notice it much. Most digital cameras can compensate too, but whether they do or not depends on the settings. The setting you want to investigate is color balance. If this is set to daylight, it will give an orange cast to pictures taken in tungsten lighting, and a greenish cast to pictures taken in flourescent light. If it is set to artificial light, pictures taken in daylight will have a bluish cast. The best setting for most people is Auto, if your camera has it. That will let your camera decide, and usually it will get it about right.

Component RCA Connectors are RED, BLUE, GREEN for picture. Sound is RED and WHITE. The red and white for sound work the same with the YELLOW that does picture. If the RED, BLUE, GREEN are in the wrong order you will get a blue or green picture. For the sound, try the other red and white connectors nearby. Make shore the right red connectors are connected correctly for sound or picture. Otherwise there could be a cable fault or a TV fault. If you get the picture right but not the sound, connect the sound into a stereo.

Sounds like a bad connection to whatever you have it connected to (cable box, dvd player, etc). Check the connection and then replace cables.

I have a celestial colour TV and after approximately 10 sec there is suddenly no picture and no sound.... the blue on light is still showing (so it hasn't gone into standby) just sound ad picture

Needs new main board, cheaper to buy new tv. Unless you have warranty.

I have a hp c4240, when i scan pictures (8x10) there is space around the picture, it will not resize to the size of the picture. adjusting the picture size and adjusting borders make no difference, did...

take pritner to factory defaults .
press cancell and power button at same time.
you will see message on screen enter special key combo. then press blue green and gray button in a sequesnce. it will show you support on screen. press blue button 2 times it will show reset menu. press ok on it. then press blue button 2 times it will show semifull reset press ok.

Blue streaks across picture

Can you describe in a little more detail what the symptoms are? Are the streaks thin lines or are they large thick swashes of Blue? Is yur video still visible? Sounds like it may be the blue convergence amps or the resistor tied into the amps. is there anyway you can post a picture of your screen distortion?

Flyback lines? Is the picture all white with no brightness control with faint horizontal faint lines? If this is what you are saying, the screen voltage could be bad, and if thats the case, the picture tube or the flyback itself could be bad. You could also have a bad connection on the crt socket
