Question about Bosch SHU5315UC Dishwasher

Letter F appears on screen, and dishwasher does not start. Sounds like pump runs for a bit then stops. Door is closed. What is wrong?.

Hi

Error code F indicates that dishwasher control has detected a fault with dishwasher filling. This is due to faulty water inlet valve. Please check for clogged water inlet valve. Water inlet valve part#35

It's a guess, because I haven't used Industrial Hobarts for a while, but the contactor unit for the pump is faulty. These are usually hidden behind the control panel or the bottom kick panel.

Is there something stuck inside, underneath, being turned along with the motor? burning smell usually means something got caught and the belt snapped. Not expensive and don't know if it's an easy DYI. Shouldn't cost too much to have it repaired or you can google the brand and model and the word belt, see what you find.

Doesn't close tight enough to start
It sounds like your door-closed sensor (a microswitch) is out-of-adjustment. If you can locate this sensor, try gluing a tiny piece of plastic or wood to it. This will do the same thing as pushing really ******* the door and allow your dishwasher to operate normally.

Bosch SHX46A (6 years old) Selected regular cycle, pressed On and closed door. Cycle did not start normally. Pump runs, but no water is coming into the DW. I confirmed the water supply line is turned on....
From your description, I doubt that the problem is door latch is the cause.
The first thing that a modern dishwasher does before it begins to fill with water is run the drain pump.  It appears that this DW is not progressing to the next cycle (inlet water) and because the pump runs even when the door is open, I agree that the controller card may have failed.
If possible, inspect all the wire connections (remove main power before you do this) ... if there is a loose connection, the controller could do odd things.

I own a Kitchen Aid KUD102frss dishwasher. The door is not closing properly. It appears to be the latch. The start button blinks
you might have started a cycle and opened the door by mistake.  try pressing HI TEMP, AIR DRY, HI TEMP, AIR DRY close door to latch, press cancel.

sounds like the door is losing contact with the door switch, first thing i would check is the door strike.Metal strike plate located on the tub itself that the door latch catches as it closes. its a spring metal striker, i would try bending it down a little bit to ensure better contact with the switches inside the door itself . next id open the control panel and check to make sure your door switches are secured well, wires are tight.

bit difficult to diagnose this but worth while splitting the door and carefully examining the wiring loom where it goes round the corner at the bottom of the door. its quite common to get breakages at this point as it flexes every time you open or close the door

Why does my dishwasher not drain? The standing water at the bottom of the dishwasher is about 2 inches deep, it's quite 'soft' and feels like the water still has soap in it --so it didn't drain any of the cleaning cycles. Things that I've done: I removed the filter, it is free and clear. I removed all of the water (cup and bucket) and no obstruction is in the 'well'. I put it in the 9-minute rinse cycle and it did the whole cycle, and there is a motor sound when it needs to drain but it sounds like it's lost its mojo, it sounds weak.
