My Amilo Pa 2548 LCD screen displays a half black & half white
i did this, open backside of the laptop
take out the cooling system
clean the cpu,gpu,and all spots where the cooling system
have contact whit the motherboard
the cooling pasta had dryed out.
so there whas no cooling to cpu.and gpu
put new cooling pasta
put it back and down load FTS_nVIDIAGeForce8400MG8600MGS_715115615_1015040
driver and install it.
when you put the cooling system back
thighten the screvs by number 1.2.3.4.5.6
the screvs are numbered
then i made backup spots after every
change i made in the system
now it worksagain

If you Google the make and model of your machine there are loads of places to obtain your drivers from, even going to the Fujitsu site should supply them. Have you tried rebooting in "Safe" mode (normally the "F8" on boot up) it might just sort it.

usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer
Instruction Manuals, and a list
of Dealers for spare parts and Drivers as required. Just Google the manufacturer's name and
follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's
web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they
charge for the information that is normally free of charge. I
