Keyboard My MSI MS-1012 can't detect the keyboard, under dos, or other os. But the FN still work. any body help me!

There may be drivers from the keyboard manufacturer that need to be loaded in Windows.

Has there been any damage? Drop? Jarred? Possible loose connection? I'm sure you have unplugged, removed battery, plug in, rebooted? Are ALL you Windows and MSI updates current? fn is a laptop only thing.

not told what fn , feature you need,
but do try usb f1 to F12. alone, see if that works

You have activated most likelly with "Fn" <capslock> those tiny small ciphers on the keys nobody normally tazkes notice of and not all keyboards have them. Unlock by pressing Fn <capslock> again. Some laptops have exrtra keys for locking the keyboards. in case you have - try those.

your operating system must be install for successful progress. cause, that OS can detect your K/B, mouse and you must plug in DVD-RW external to install, if your DVD-ROM still broken

use you external keyboard and mouse and try to goto device manger and find the hardware keyboard and mouse and try to update the drivers this could be the problem ....

you can also check in the search bar try typing in keyboard the search menu in start menu this should have a Standard PS /2 keyboard or something like that if not then the drivers are missing needs updateing
