Plug the headset into a powered USB port with an USB charging cable. » LED turns white during charging and turns off when the headset is fully charged. Tip • Normally, a full charge takes three hours.
could be a number of things including the power block faulty, a break in the power lead, the power regulator in the macbook or even it's just plain old dead. if the macbook lights come on when it's plugged in and nothing else happens when you press the power button, odds on it's just dead.
Try out this application http://www.coconut-flavour.com/coconutbattery/ this will help you diagnose battery problems, it's free software. Newer versions of OSX will tell you if the battery is bad or not.
It sounds like your battery is not charging fully which usually means that your battery is starting to go bad. You should probably take this into an Apple Store for a replacement battery.
I reset my PRAM and NVRAM during start-up, and it completely fixed the problem. Thanks to the support of the people at apple.com, they suggested troubleshooting before I went out and bought a new speaker. The best part was that it was free of charge. Thank you for your offer though. I'm sure you're going to suggest this to the next person with the same problem and charge them for this suggestion. I hope it all works out.
Sincerely,
E.
Could be a disc error. Make sure your battery is in the correct way as it can go in 2 different ways. Line the slots on the battery to the prongs on the laptop. Before I go on, it may be you battery is dead for some reason?
Go to applications folder, find disc utility and hit "repair disc" it will come up with ANY problems your computer is having. You will then have the option to "fix errors"
