I am using microsoft lifecam vx 1000 for video call with windows live massenger and my operating system is microsoft windows xp professional version 2002 service pack 2 and intel(R) pentium(R) Dual CPU E 2200 @ 2.20 GHz. when I make a video call I can't see my friend but they can see me their computer and sound is ok both have same microsoft life cam vx 1000. My friends using operating system is microsoft windows xp with service pack 3. I have this same problem with Google video and voice chat. please sir help me.

How to install my web cam

Method 1: Update the LifeCam drivers in Device Manager
  1. Open Device Manager.
    • In Windows Vista or Windows 7, click Start vistastartbutton.jpg, type devmgmt.msc in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.

Method 2: Download and install the latest software To download the most recent version of the LifeCam software, follow these steps:
  1. Visit the following Microsoft Hardware Web site: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/downloads/default.mspx
  2. Click Software for Microsoft internet communications (webcam and headset) products.
  3. In the Select type of product box, select Webcams.
  4. In the Select your product box, select your LifeCam product.
  5. In the Select your operating system box, select your version of Windows.
  6. In the Select your operating system language box, select your Windows language.
  7. Click Go.
  8. Click the link to download the most recent version of the LifeCam software.

It is not working in window 7 and yahoo massenger and main problem is that is not broadcasting

Hi

If your using original windows 7 operating system. Go to start and choose windows updates to get the update version of your webcam through internet.

Also uninstall and reinstall the yahoo messenger again.

My LifeCam VX-1000 has stopped working in MSN Video calls
