Insignia mp3 players are a little buggy in that they occasionally get file system problems that cause strange things like this to happen. First backup your songs from the mp3 player, and select "erase internal memory". That actually reformats the memory. Then put your songs back on the mp3 player. If it still doesn't work, please advise.

My insignia sport MP3 player froze so i turned it off and now it won't turn on, i tried to charge it thinking it was low baterry but it doesn't charge either

Hello,

I had the same problem. The reason is because you have not charged your player, in a while.

First of all, try this.

Reset the Insignia Pilot if it freezes during normal use. To reset the device, press and hold the "Power/Hold" switch to the right for approximately 10 seconds until the screen turns off. The "Power/Hold" switch is located on the top of the player.

If that does not work, you need to remove the battery and then put it back.

Here's how to do it.

Then plug your cable and wait until it comes back to life. Be patient, it may even take a couple of days, until a full charge is accomplished.

Good luck!

My Insignia Sport Player MP3 says all music is Unknown?

I have the same problem with my RCA it occurs every so often. What I do is delete everything on there by useing he software that came with it and then change the mode from from MTP to MSC and back that way It formats it so Windows Media player( WMP) can see that it is really empty. Then I end the sync with the WMP and start a new sync. after that all I have to do is load the songs back on. This might not work for you since you have a different MP3, but if there is orginal software that came with it use that to delete. If you dont have any orginal software then you can still try to end the sync with WMP and see if that works.

hope this helps

Insignia NS-DXA1 - Digital to Analog converter box

I have had my converter box 5 days now. I hooked it up to the TV and set it up. No Problem. Except there are no instructions on how to set up the VCR/DVD player with it, which we use more than we do watching TV. Everything worked fine until on the second day we had it I read I could program the remote to turn the TV on and off. I followed the instructions and the TV went off. When I turned it back on, my remote went berserk. If I try to change a channel it will quickly flip through all the channels until I turn the converter box off. Same with the volume, it goes up and down, up and down until I shut off the box. The remote does not work unless you are about 1 foot away from the box. And the remote has never turned the TV on or off except that first time I programed it.
