Hello, I have three Fujitsu Siemens LCD monitors SCENICVIEW P19-2 that died after three years of use, shortly after each other. They all went black and the blue power led started flashing. I took them apart and the problem seems to be the ZD920 diode on board 715G1643-3. It is fried and I cannot read the code. Would you be able to tell me what diode it is? Thank you!

Hello,

I think that it is a zener of 9,1V / 1A (for the max current i'm not absolutely right)

Monitored +5V when powering on, on the connector going from power supply card to logic card, with logic card disconnected. Found it rising to +5V and then falling, period < 1sec. Then observed that C56 1500uF/10V is swollen (on the power supply, in a group of capacitors on output voltages). Replaced it and monitor is now OK.

hi you must disable the main screen in properties section of the display panel then when you start up the computer the screen will not activate until windows has loaded and found and installed the screen drivers after that all should be good to go if you need any further help don't hesitate to contact me :)

I have a Windows Vista ce50y9 Fujitsu PC when I start it up the monitor stays black and stays black and a series of short beeps comes from the pc. Please help.
sounds like the graphics card has a problem have you tried the screen on another computer

If you are going to DIY and already try the monitor with another PC, and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on:
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply (they should be replaced in a set), blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm/

Monitor ia having a problem with Voltage filtration... Replace the electrolitic capacitors at secondary side of power board, There are 2 voltages, 12 V and 5V...each of them has few electrolitic capacitors in line, replace them, watch the polarity and all works...Cause of eletrolitic capacitors on secondary side may be the one little capacitor in the primary side, becarefull there is some high voltage out there

Try connecting each monitor to a different desktop/laptop computer, to rule-out the possibility that the video-card on your own computer is the cause of the problem.

Fujitsu siemens scenicview p17-2 monitor flicker. Some time ago flickered about 20 min. after power on, but now always. Two monitors and the same bug.
IF you do not think it is the monitor, replace (if possible) the cable from the computer to the monitor. Sometimes the cable can be loose. Then, check the connection at the video card. The video card may be loose or may need to be replaced. Also, before you decide none of the above is what you want to do, verify that the refresh rate in the computer display control panel is set to the speed the monitor can accept. (right click on the desktop and pick properties then screen resolution/video/monitor options). Screen refresh should be 60hz +/- as a basis and adjust from there.
I really suspect the cable.

It happens at random maybe after turned on for a couple of days, maybe after a couple of hours. More than three quaters of the screen just goes black, the other bit is still working fine.
Inspect the caps in the power supply and solder joints.

Temporarily connect a different monitor to your computer, to see if your video-card is the problem.

Temporarilyh connect your monitor to a different computer (desktop/laptop), to see if your monitor is the problem.

Try a different "data" cable between your monitor and your video-output port.
