PL3 gives message disk error

Boot into Safe Mode.
Open a command prompt as Administrator.
Type in chkdsk /r and reboot the machine.
Let it run to check and repair errors.

Disk read error is an error you will get when the hard drive has problems. I would take it into a reputable show for repair. Often, a hard drive will fail and give you this message. It's possible the issue is virus related too, but when you get those types of messages; it's important to have a professional look at it.

its probably that the blu ray diode is dirty, thats why your getting that error or a dirty disk. try cleaning it and the disk... there might b a tiny speck of smudge or something on a certain exact spot of the game thats causing it to give u the error.. well anyways dirty lens/disk is the reason for the error message

Had the same problem and I made a video going through the troubleshooting process and how I ended up fixing it by replacing the DVD Drive.

did you tried by changing the cables?if the problem still persists than it might be a problem with your motherboard.Contact your vendor then.

Is the disc facing the right way?

Check the Player Manual what types of disck it can play
There is great diversity o among player makes with what they can do.
Also if you have burned this disk it must be Finalized in the burner before any other device can play it.

There are a couple of possibilities.

1. The hard drive is defective.

2. The operating system is corrupt.

The easiest way to test this is to run the restore cd that came with the computer to reload Windows.

If you get this error while running the restore cd then you will need to get a new hard drive.
