HDMI won't charge a tablet as it is used for output to a display like tv it is not an input. port. USB is a way of charging as it has dc voltage on it. that charges devices.

HI, yes it is very possible. If you post a picture of the internals and the damage to the port I may be able to provide a link to or advise on what you need.

No way to do that unless you can figure out a way to remove the part. The contacts inside that plug determine where the sound goes. No way to turn it off unless you remove the broken part. If you feel confident enough, remove the back of the TV and remove the broken piece from the jack.

BAD News.
Usually the USB Port is a part of the Mother Board on a PC and the replacement of the Mother Board is the only solution.
You can find them on the internet at Ebay and other locations. BUT it is very involved to replace.

If you have one good USB Port, Get an adapter that will allow multiple inputs.

Question 2. I do not know. On most PC's two are horizintal and two are vertical.

Usually the printers have only one USB port. If you had broke it, then it can be replaced (if mainboard is NOT DAMAGED). USB port is very cheep but you will need tools and skills to replace it. There is only USB input port(from flash memory stick) in front of the printer

Will replacing the data-cable replace the broken-off piece?

If not, then for about $30, you can buy a new "empty" external case, and then "transplant" your current disk-space into the new case.
Take your current external drive to the computer-store, so that the new case that you buy will be the correct case for your existing disk-drive.

Of course, because you have a "small" (100GB) disk-drive, any warranty for the disk-drive probably has expired, and it would be good "preventative-maintenance" to buy a new external disk-drive, before your current disk-drive unexpectedly "quits" on you.

The coaxial input can be soldered back in. You will need a new one however. Sometimes the internals in the tuner (where coaxial goes) may be damaged when coaxial connection breaks out. If that is the case a tech may charge more money. But just to replace the connection should be relatively inexpensive.

You can order the USB for $10.00 on the website. Also you can return the entire product to the store you purchased it from and they might replace it. I broke mine and tech support sent me another free of charge. I thought it would take too long for delivery so I returned mine to CompUSA and they exchanged it wihtout a hassle. I recently broke mine again(girlfriend dropped the laptop with the USB attached) two days ago and I am trying to find the extra one tech support sent otherwise I will order one for $10 this time around. Hopefully this helped you out some.

You might be able to fix it yourself. Input jacks vary some you can use a pin or straighted paper clip to push the broken cable out. Remove the screws on the back (you my need to disconnect the speaker). If the jack is accessible (some are sealed ) using the clip or pin try to push it out from the back side of the jack.
If that doesn't work you are looking at about $50 to $70 replace the jack.
