3 Blinks is just saying that there is a problem , and the fault is often concerning teh deflection circuit. The pcb is located behind the back panel, on the bottom left hand side, the firt thing the technician will do is looking for leaky or bulged capacitors in there, checking horizontal and vertical output and testing the the resistors on the deflection circuit.
Repalce STKs with 392-040 resistors should be 3.9 ohms, also you might want to join Repairworld it is for members who have TV shops over 7,000 different shops / lots of good techs there. They will not put up with anyone just looking to repair there own tv .Sorry unable to help with cz140,141.will do some checking you also can order whole convergence board.

This model is equipped with a self-diagnosis feature to help with diagnosis of shutdown problems. To activate this turn the unit on let it shutdown then press the input and menu buttons on the front panel simultaneously and hold them in for 5 seconds after 5 seconds the power LED on the front panel will blink a two digit sequence. This will be one set of blinks a short pause then another set of blinks, this will repeat 5 times. 1 - 2 = no error detected 2 - 1 = X-ray protect (high voltage or beam current) 2 - 2 = Short protect (short protect monitors low voltage supplies) 2 - 3 = Deflection protect (this could be loss of vertical or horizontal deflection) 2 - 4 = Vertical protect (usually loss of vertical from the source) 1. Self-diagnosis error 2-3 indicating deflection failure. Check for shorted or leaky Q5A37 part # 260P818050 located on PCB-Main. If found defective replace only the transistor instead of the Main PCB.
