Base Detachment When I got the T.V the table stand was already attached. Now I need to put it into the box for safe transport and I can't figure out how to get the stand off. I know it comes off because the screen can be mounted on the wall and came with a cover to fit over the hole in the bottom of the T.V where the stand fits into. My question is: what do I need to do so I can get the table stand off the T.V?

most of the time the set has to be laid face down "safely" so no weight or stress is on the actual front screen---the base then should be safely attached and the 4 or more specific bolts attached.

Carefully place the TV screen side down on a
cushioned surface to protect the screen from
damage.

Loose the bolts from TV.

Detach the stand from TV.
After removing the stand, install the included
protection cover over the hole for the stand.
Press the PROTECTION COVER into the TV
until you hear it click.

There are four screws on the back of the tv that have an s near the screw hole. Unscrew and slide mount off. On the base unscrew the 4 screw and reinstall the cover to the tv. Install the 4 screw in the holes that have an s on them and you are done.....

GENTILITY lay that set face down on a table covered with a thick blanket. There should be 4 long threaded bolts near the bottom that fasten the legs of the stand inside the framework of the set.. Remove these and the stand should slide right out.
