Best way to connect a 15'' kicker cvr15 4 ohm dvc [single sealed box] and a volfenhag zx-4712 1000w 12'' 4ohm+4ohm dvc to my pyle 885 1000w 4 ch. bridgeable amp and how to wire the voice coils that are in...

best way is to just run the volfenhag with a set of wires for 2 channells(one set per coil) left and right @ 4 ohms per channell. The CVRs you can parallel the coils(2 ohms) and run a set from each sub to the amp in stereo left and right. This will give the kickers a little more juice than the 12 but should be fine.

I want to know the best subwoofer wiring diagram for three kicker cvr 10 inch subs, 2 of them are dvc 4 ohm and 1 is dvc 2 ohm, the amp that i am using is jl audio 500.1 1.5-4ohms stable. can anyone help...

if the amp has a 2 outputs then i would wire the two 4ohms together, and the 2ohm by itself. and if its a 4 channel output then wire them all sepretly, if its a 1 channel output then wire the two 4ohms together and leave the 2ohm sub out

I have an Audiobahn A8000T amp and 2 12" Kicker CVR (DVC) Dual voice Coil. The Subwoofers are 2OHM a peice. What is the best way to hook this all up to run a 2 OHM load to my subs?

This is a link to Kicker for your CVR12 Subs...if you have the 2 ohm version (2 ohms per voice coil) and you have 2 speakers ....you will need to wire EACH speakers voice coils in series to get 4 ohms from each speaker and then wire the 2 speakers in parallel.....as in....2 ohms in series with 2 ohms = 4 ohms....both speakers wired same way, then in Parallel with each other = 2 ohm load. Page 2 of this link gives examples of both series and parallel wiring of your speaker.

2 12" dvc subs 2 ohm stable amp

+ on amp output to + on speaker #1 to + on speaker #2. - on amp output to - on speaker #1 to - on speaker #2. This is a parallel circuit....4 ohms in parallel with 4 ohms = 2 ohms. IF it were wired in series....would represent 8 ohm load.

How do i wire two kicker l7 dual 2 ohm subs to play on a mtx 7801 class d amplifier

Hello moore_broder,

Your MTX 7801 is stable at 1 ohm, but you cannot wire a pair of DVC 2 ohm subs to that impedance. They can only be wired to 1/2 ohm which is too low or to 2 ohms.

Series the voice coils and parallel the subs. On each sub, jumper Black to Red/White Dot, then run both red's (positive) and both black/white dot's (negative) to your amp terminals.

The diagram is here.

Hope this helps.

2 channel amp with 2 Kicker Cvrs 15"

Assuming the amplifier is 2 ohm mono stable... the amplifier is bridgeable... and the subwoofers are Single 4 Ohm Voicecoils, You would wire them as follows....

Both + on Both subs to the + bridged terminal on the amplifier.
Both - on Both subs to the - bridged terminal on the amplifier.

This will net a 2 ohm mono load for your amplifier.

If you have something different - let me know... and I will give you the proper wiring for what you have.

12" kicker l5

Series is +amp to +1, -1 to +2 , -2 to -amp . This way you have wired the two voice coils into one higher impedance voice coil.

2 ohm dvc and monoblock sub amp

Yes. When you run two-two ohm subs to a monoblock amp its on the same channel meaning there ran parallel, and that makes it one ohm and most mono-blocks won't read one ohm. Are you popping fuses in the amp?
