Jenn-Air Side-by-side Refrigeration not making ice and leaks water underneath when ice maker arm is up

With the arm up in the ice tray, the water solenoid valve should be closed. When the arm drops, that tells the ice maker to open the water solenoid valve to fill the ice maker tray. It sound like the leak is at the inlet side of the water solenoid valve. On some models its not easy to get to, but follow the water line to it. Hope this is it for you. Good luck.

Jenn-air JRSD 226 side by side Fridge

Check to see if there is frost on the rear wall o f the freezer wall. If so, the units cooling coils (behind the frost) may be covered with ice. Defrosting is necessary. The refrigerator may not be defrosting at regular intervals a required. Standing open for a couple of days should defrost it but it will still be necessary to find out why it frosted over. There is a defrost control that automatically melts ice from the cooling coils on a regular basis. Maybe this control is not functioning.
