I changed the batteries of the Honeywell thermostat and on the screen it still shows low battery.

I have 2 RTH230 thermostats. The battery in one of them was low because the little battery icon was blinking. Did not change batteries right away but a few weeks later the entire readout went blank.

At least two free manuals are online, that might suggest how to change the batteries. I could not reach the manufacturer web site, that was reportedly under maintenance, but you might need to contact the manufacturer for assistance if the manuals don't help.

Honeywell th1100d1001 thermostat keeps flashing low battery light stops working. Changed batteries multiple time. Works for a day or so. Cools fine but not sure if more serious issue.Single female.

Thermostats aren't expensive. You can get them an any home improvement store or even on line.

http://www.gogeisel.com/geiselonline/support/Honeywell/CT3300_CT3355.pdf this is the programming manual- they have a note that if you show low battery after replacing the battery- put the battery in backwards, wait 10 seconds, then put the battery in correctly again to reset it- you will have to reprogram the clock time and date and any settings you had previously.

Honeywell DT200 thermostat is not responding to any buttons pressed. Display is showing small flame icon on left of screen and what looks like a battery in top right hand corner. Any suggestions?

The thermostat is calling for heat, and the battery icon means that the batteries are low and should be replaced. If the thermostat is wired to run on battery power alone, replacing the batteries usually corrects this problem. Hope this helps! Jim

We have a Honeywell T8132A1049 thermostat/ cooler- we can't find a manual for it. It also says Bat Low on the screen but I have replaced the batteries with brand new ones and tried resetting it .....

Here is a link where you can download the user manual. It says to remove the batteries, wait 1 hr, then install fresh batteries. When the page for diplodocs opens click on security number and enter the code it shows to download the manual.

I have a cm921 thermostat with the correct batteries showing full charge. Yet the battery light is flashing and says battery low. Also displayed room temperature is a lot higher than the actual room...

Even after replacing the battery, the programmable Honeywell thermostat still shows "Low Batt."

Turn control to off. Remove the batteries for at least one hour. If the display message still reads "bat lo", leave control off, batteries out, and disconnect the red wire on back and wait another hour. Reconnect red wire, put new batteries in and turn system on. It's like a reboot.

Screen says bat low

Found the manual online and it said to put the batteries in backwards for at least 5 seconds to re-set the thermostat. Amazingly, this worked.

there are currently 60 honeywell thermostats made i have no idea witch one you have , but a lot of the new ones run on batterys you might be seeing a low battery signal . look for a door where batterys might be and replace them
