get recharge the LCD from service center.

Open the Control Panel, Power Options, Set to High Performance, open Advanced Power settings,Change Dim display to 100%, Plugged in, Adjust to your preference. If the Laptop is on battery , the software is set to dim the display to conserve battery, you can set it to 100% , your battery time will suffer.

If your laptop appears to boot up and the hard disk LEDflashes, then the problem is probably a back light fault. This can be a faultyinverter or a faulty CCFL lamp. there is a similar post (ACER x223w monitor) who describes somewhat the same issue.
Do you have some child safety feature enabled?

Backlight tube is going out there about $10-$20 fairly easy to install.

Try upgrade your VGA driver.

If this happened suddenly, the backlight power supply (inverter)  has probably failed. It could be the backlight itself but they normally will dim or flicker before they die.
Try shining a light at an angle on the display with the computer turned on and look at it from an angle too. You may be able to see video very faintly; if you do, then it is as described above; a backlight problem, not the LCD display itself. 

It sounds like video card problem. Bring it to a repair shop.

If that's the case that can be a problem with the screen itself that may need to be taken to a service center near you and they check that if needed they will replace the screen, if its still under warranty better take it back to Acer and have the screen replace..
