We have a Ricoh Aficio MP 4000, and we have had repeated problems with a gray line appearing along the side of the second side of two-sided copies. We've had technicians out at least three times to try to fix it, but it always reappears. Any ideas for a fix?

sounds like either drum blade has fail or drum is bad. try printing the counter report and see if it is doing this. Then photo conductor unit needs to be rebuilt or replace. open right side door and look at drum make sure you don't touch it and see if toner is on it. If so drum blade has fail. call a tech or buy new photo conductor unit. this are good for approx 60,000 copies but sometimes will go longer age also play with drum blade life. were you might have 20,000 copies but unit is 5 years old
