Cannot set clock please help ?. - JVC KD-S5050 CD Player

I know there is a cook timer and a clock ....Hit clock ...set time..then hit clock again....That's how mine works... Hope that helps

To set up the clock...
Turn radio off.
Hide clock face.
Press and hold a few seconds “clock button” to bring clock face up.
Press and hold “power on button” till clock starts to blink.
The 4 buttons in a cluster on the right under audio, move the hours and minutes.
press power when done.

usually you push clock, put in time, push clock, click am/pm to whichever it is, then push clock again. That should set it.

Make sure the clock is set to the correct time zone before trying to set the time.

unless you have a set clock button, just press the clock button until it blinks to set time..

if you are having trouble setting the clock times etc this is probably down to a worn bit generator this is the knob you turn to set the time they get dirty when using oven or grill and wont operate properly,the clock will need changing im afraid as there no way to open the clock without destroying it.

I have consulted the Owners Manual and there is no mention of the demo mode. I would suggest that you unplug the unit or disconnect power if it is hard wired in, and try to set the clock then.

Press and hold the CLOCK ADJUST button for more than 3 seconds.
"SET" and "CLK" appear alternately in the display.
Turn the MULTI JOG knob to adjust time.
Press the CLOCK ADJUST button again to finish.
