Am using hp officejet 5610 all in one. when printing all the three buttons (copy,fax,scan) are blinking at the same time and in the screen the error message oxdo620230 displays and asking to reset the power. but it wrking without any problem when wire connect to the laptop. is tis the problem of PC or port.

Try to reset the printer:

Unplug the printer from power

Hold the # and 9 together while plugging it back

If still not working try again with a # and 3 combination

Most likely you will need to open up the scanner and clean the mirrors. Can be tricky.

I have window XP proffetional installed on my pc, installed the HP 5610 all in one drivers, but my scan option is not working it gives me the error that '' no scan options, refer todevice documentation to troubleshooting'' but the copy and print as well as fax option are workin fine. please healp.

your printer is dead and is uneconomical to repair. sorry

You can try resetting the printer.
Step 1. Unplug the power cord at the back of the printer while the printer is still on
Step 2. Press and hold the # and 6 button on the printer while the power cord is disconnected. And keep holdig the two buttons until you plug in the power back again.
Note : do not release the # and 6 when you plug the power cord back in. keep holding the two buttons until the printer would turn on then turn off or the printer would say anything about "reset"
Step 3. Try sending a fax after the successful reset of the printer

UNPLUG PRINTER FROM WALL SOCKET PRESS # AND 9 AS YOU PLUG PRINTER BACK IN TO DO A FULL RESET
