UNIT WILL NOT TURN ON. IT WAS STORED WITHOUT TURNING THE UNIT OFF-POSSIBLY. I WAS ABLE TO PROGRAM A ROUTE-CANCELLED THE ROUTE ANDIT HAS NOT WORKED SINCE. I PRESSED THE RESET BUTTON

You probably need to be a bit clearer as to what you want. But the f (function) key on the unit allows you to change the input To ARC if you have it set up. If you switch off your TV /stereo using the TV remote only this should shut down both. When you turn it on again both should turn on with the sound routed through your stereo ( when you turn on you need to wait a short while while the stereo starts up)

diagnostic test -- the washer must be empty and the control must be in the OFF state before pressing the touch-pad sequence to start the test. 1) close the door 2) select any one key (except PAUSE/CANCEL) and follow the steps below, using the same key): a) press/hold 4 sec b) release for 4 sec c) press/hold 4 sec d) release for 4 sec e) press/hold 4 sec 3) upon release, all console LED lights will turn on for 5 sec 4) if there are any failure codes, they will be displayed in the Estimated Time Remaining display. NOTE: This program recalls the most recent failure code first. 1) press the same key to advance to the next failure code. (if the console doesn't change then the same failure code was stored multiple times.) 2) if there aren't any more failure codes all the lights on the console will turn on for 5 sec 3) next the washer begins the diagnostic test 4) to cancel out of service mode press PAUSE/CANCEL. this exits you out of the program. **Hope this helps; got it off the manual for service technicians.... most likely you'll get an F28 code (Serial Communication Error -- the communication between the central control unit (CCU) and the motor control unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly). We are having this problem now and just replaced the CCU to a tune of around $300 ($120-$150 for CCU part & repairman labor cost + call/diagnostic cost)... it still is not working so I guess we'll replace the MCU next. If that doesn't work then we'll have to get a new washer that's not a frontload. What a nightmare; wished we had done research on frontloaders. Good luck!

1 Press STANDBY/ON on the front panel to set this unit to the standby mode.
2 Press and hold TONE CONTROL and then press STANDBY/ON to turn on this unit.
The advanced setup menu appears in the front panel display.
3 Press PROGRAM l / h to select “PRESET”.
4 Press STRAIGHT repeatedly to select “RESET”.
Select “CANCEL” to cancel the initialization procedure without making any changes.
5 Press STANDBY/ON to confirm your selection and set this unit to the standby mode.
• This procedure completely resets all the parameters of this unit including the set menu parameters.
• The initial factory settings are activated next time you turn on this unit.

To cancel the initialization procedure at any time without making any changes, press STRAIGHT repeatedly to select “CANCEL” and then press STANDBY/ON.

Thanks for using FixYa. To cancel the stored ID code you’ll need to enter the preset (old) 4 digit ID code. If the wrong ID code is entered, it is not possible to cancel the ID code function. To reset the previously store IC code you’ll need to touch and hold until “Completed!” is displayed. The ID code canceling procedure is completed. The unit now works without an ID code.

Well, my phone was stolen last week and they put a lock on it before I got it back. I connected the phone to a computer, downloaded a program, and removed the lock. So, yes. If you haven't, I would call your service provider to cancel your service temporarily so they won't rack up a bill. I checked who they had called online and found them and got my phone back. Total factory reset then with wiring diagramme I downloaded for my car and help of Pioneer technicians connected in speed pulse. Cured Problem O.K.

Your Navman is in Demonstration mode and is demonstrating a route that you have set up. It should be flashing SIM alternately with the time taken on the route so far. 
If you don't want the 'Demonstrator' to operate, you can turn it off. See your manual. If you have not got one, you can download it from the Navman site. 
I only have the iCN510 and I have to go to the main Menu screen, tap 'Route Information', then Cancel Route to cancel the current demonstration. 
To turn off Route Demonstrator from Main Menu  Settings  Routing  next screen  Untick 'Demonstrate Route.

I was having the same problem and contacted Garmin support.

What I had done was turned off the Basemap that came with the unit. I only had the mapsource map street map on which I had purchased separately.

The technician basically said the unit needed the basemap to "locate itself". Somehow the basemap supports any maps you purchase separately. That seemed odd but once I turned the Basemap back on it calculated the routes and the error message went away.

If you have the Basemap off, try turning it on from the Map Setup - Information window.

Go to the ActiveSync options of your pocket pc and to go to Mobile Schedule and choose "Manually". I think it's set to sync automatically in a few minutes that's why it turns itself on.
