Unplug the laptop and remove the battery. The discharge the laptop by pushing the power button for 15 seconds while it is unplugged and does not have the battery installed. Then put the battery back on and power it up, and use your laptop as you normally would.

My toshiba at200 table 10.1 wont turn on

1. When you press the power button to turn it on, do you see any thing on screen, like the toshiba boot up screen or something like that. Or is it completely blank (black color) always.

2. Can you see a faint image of your desktop (try to see it in dark place with flash light). This is important to confirm.

3. Also, when you press power button, do you see the LED lights on laptop blinking or solid green (which ones are in blinking/solid) and do hear any sound ? Or do you feel that your laptop doesnt even try to boot.

4. Can you hear any Beeps when you try to turn on the computer. If yes, what is the sequence of those beeps.

Continued......
If you answers are -
1.
blank
2.
no image
3.
only the satellite light is blue, the powercord is blue and the battery is blue
4.
no noise

Please do the following carefully and let me know result :
1. Shutdown and Unplug your laptop.
2. Remove the battery from the laptop.
3. Wait 2-3 minutes
4. Now press ON (power button on laptop) for 1 minute
5. Then release the finger and wait one more minute.
6. Now plug in the power cable (dont insert battery yet) and press ON button.
7. Did your screen start working now ? (do you see windows loading)

I have a Mitsubishi WD-62525 HDTV that suddenly wont turn on. Just has a green blinking light when you hit the power button. Any ideas?

I found this on another website, most likely it is your power supply capacitors.
  1. Press the "reset" button and hold for 10 seconds .... Does TV turn on and blinking green light turn to solid green.

  2. Unplug the TV from it's power source for various times, ranging between 5 minutes and 24 hours..... Does blinking green light continue upon plugging in the TV.

  3. Disconnect ALL devices from the TV; DVD, Tuner, Cable Box, unplug the TV for various duration times .... Does blinking green light continues upon plugging in the TV.

  4. Press Power and Menu buttons simultaneously and hold depressed for 20 seconds .... Does blinking green light continue to flash.

  5. Press Power and Display buttons simultaneously and hold depressed for 20 seconds .... Does blinking green light continue to flash.

  6. Insure that no front panel buttons are inadvertently stuck in an "engaged" position.

Diagnosis: If none of the above test resolve the issue, then the failure lies in one of the following:

  1. DM Module Capacitors have FAILED.
  2. DM Module is defective.
  3. EEPROM Board failure
  4. Power Supply failure.

My Sony VAIO VGC-RB43 PC cannot reboot there is a green light blinking in the back and i want to know how to reboot my computer.

if able u can reboot by accessing start button and clicking turnoff and choosing restart. some pc's have restart button under power button. if not you can shut it down by holding pwr button for 10 seconds. some computers will not reboot if your hardware abstraction layer (HAL) was corrupt. if so you have to reinstall it. u can just follow help options in your pc help by pressing F1 and seraching for HAL.

I have a mitsubishi 1080 projection tv. I wont turn on, the green light just keeps blinking.

Check the manual...blinking green light is normal. The unit is powering down cooling the lamp. It could have been a shut down command through pressing the off button by accident. If problem continues I would unplug tv and power on/off. Steady green. Next to the lights is a small indentation where you can reset the TV to the defaults. Take a paper clip ...power on..and put in the center. The green light will blink for a minute or two then go dark. THen power up.
