Setting your dose at max and grinder at finest is not good. This means that you are asking the machine to grind coffee really fine, and then dose maximun amount which can lead to the grinder getting clogged. If you are looking for stronger coffee, it is best to have several shots that one that has too much coffe and too fine. For stronger espresso, use less water instead of more coffee. Two shots of 2 oz. espresso (made with 7 grams of coffee) are more flavorful & sweeter than one shot of 4-oz. espresso made with 14 grams of coffee which could clog your grinder and door/channel. At this point, you need to clean the grinder ( inlcuding the door/channel). I suggest you have an Authorized SAECO Service Center check your machine. Contact Saeco USA Inc. to located a Service Center near you at 800-933-7876 (toll-free), ask for customer support, or contact SAECO via e-mail at : [email protected]

My Saeco Odea Go makes coffee very slowly

If the water pressure coming out of the steam/hot water arm is fine, then the issue is likely with the brew unit or the grinder. Here are a few things you can check:
  1. Clean the brew unit: A dirty or clogged brew unit can slow down the flow of water. Remove the brew unit and clean it thoroughly, making sure to remove any coffee residue or buildup.
  2. Check the grinder: A dull or clogged grinder can also slow down the flow of water. Make sure the grinder is set to the appropriate setting for your coffee beans and check that the grinder is not clogged.
  3. Check the water flow meter: The water flow meter measures the amount of water flowing through the machine. If it is clogged or damaged, it can affect the flow of water. Try cleaning the water flow meter with a soft-bristled brush and see if that helps.
  4. Check the water filter: If your machine has a water filter, it may be clogged and affecting the flow of water. Replace the filter if necessary.
If none of these solutions help, it may be a more serious issue and you may need to bring your machine to a professional for repair.

Saeco Vienna Machine - no coffee at all or very watery coffee/liquid pucks

Your machine needs dealer service. Either the brew group needs replacing or all the O-rings need replacing. The reason the grounds are wet is because water is forcing by the worn seals. These machines need dealer service every 6 to 9 months, and of course they don't tell you that when you buy them.

Flashing dregdrawer and descaling lights

Descaling helps, but right answer is grinder is stuck. Power down, restart, let it run its start up cycle. before you hit the coffee brew button, use a magnet in place of the coffee bean lid. this will trick it that I has a lid on it, then grab a 10mm socket with extension and ratchet. You will click the coffee brew button while turning the grinder counter clockwise immediately with the 10mm socket right after you click the button or same time if you can manage. Turning the ratchet quick enough for it to slide off as it the grinder starts to spin on its own. I did this twice, kind of a kick start to the grinder. it will dislodge whatever is blocking it and BAM, complete.
The pump will not work if the grinder is not spinning to brew a coffee. so you have to jumpstart the grinder, grind the beans, tamp it and then the pump runs water through it.

The alarm light to empty the coffe grounds drawer AND the descaling light flash alternately I cleaned the brew group. Machine comes ready, but when I press to make a coffee it comes back with alternate...

Hi, the problem with your machine is with the grinder motor (not working). As soon as you press the coffee the CPU senses the motor is out of circuit and the lights start flashing alternately.
You can test it by doing this. Press and hold the steam button and switch on the machine, you will see the lights going around in anticlockwise direction. Release the button then turn the dial to left (Min) and press the steam button the grinder should work. The dial on the right (Max) the brew group will come up..and half way it will come back to normal position. Press the coffee button in that position will work the pump. Servicecenter can fix this if the machine is less than 2 year old FOC.

I Have descaled my Saeco Odea Go but still it doesnt brew coffee

That is serious, that means the grinder is jammed or not working. To check the components of the machine follow these instructions.
Press and hold the steam button and turn on the machine, when you see the lights going around in anticlockwise direction, release the button. Turn the coffee dial to the left and press the steam button, the grinder should turn. Dial on the right and pressing coffee ****. water pump runs. Press steam ****. brew group go up, dial 1/4 to left B/Group down.
If grinder not turning the motor is bad. Hope it will help to find out.

Waret Pucks

Hi There are 2 problems that can cause a watery puck. 1. Like EsWorld said, If the grinds is too coarse it leaves room for more water and you get a watery puck. 2. But if your grind is like a grain of salt, the you don't have enough coffee going into the brew unit, and this leaves room for extra water. To fix this, there is a lever on the top center of the door. The lever will increase the dose if pushed towards the back. DON'T push the lever to the full back position. This could cause an over charge, which could cause the brew unit to dump the ground coffee with out making because it could not compress the charge, or it could break the brew drive. 1 click back from the full plus is fine and will give a great shot.

Re: no coffee comes out after the grinding and loading stages!

Sounds like your coffee grinder is grinding too fine. I would up the size of your grinder. The larger the numbers the coarser the grinds. Also, should descale the machine if you haven't in a while. One of these two things may help.

Also, if the above two things do not work you can try to clean out your grinder using the instruction #2 posted on the website http://cerinicoffee.com/Saeco_technical_documents.asp
