I recently bought a Ladies Cote d'Azur Quartz watch on a cruise ship, the Eurodam. I spent $12.00 Cdn. to get three links taken out of the bracelet and the jeweller set it to local time. Now the watch is not working and the stem will not retract. What can I do. It is a pink faced silver ladies watch.

Check the battery. These are cheap watches the Eurodam is allowing to be peddled to its passengers as if they are valuable. A scam.

I agree. I just got 7 of these from a cruise ship with $99 labels on them, for the "sale price" for a limited - one time BIG DEAL - cut and bruise, scratch and gouge time with other bargain seekers! They did not offer any fitting services and the links are impossible to punch out!!!! I will have to take all 7 to a jewelers and HOPE they can do it. It certainly is a scam. These look cool - but quality is not there and I fear the finishes will deteriorate if worn much - very quickly. Perhaps we should have stuck with the $10 watches at bargain stores...

I agree wholeheartedly! These watches are a classic case of misrepresentation by the Indian sellers. This illegal practice is clearly sanctioned by the Eurodam. I am no longer keen to cruise with the Eurodam. I liked their Indonesian waiters; but the way that cruise ship ihas dealt with my complaint about these watches sucks bigtime!

I purchased a Cote d' Azur watch & necklace set on a cruise ship recently, and can't seem to set the other three functions on the watch. There is only one pin but there are three addtional...

One of the dials should be seconds so you won't be setting that, the other two should be day and date, when you pull the stem and crown all the way out you can set the time there is a halfway setting ( pull the stem halfway out) if you turn one way it's the day of the week the other way is the date. Hope this helps! Also what appears to be a second hand on the dial a lot of times is actually a stopwatch.

There were no directions with our Cote d' Azur watch. Where can we get any directions.

does your watch has a strap with N,E,S, W printed on it? Normally, it is located on the bottom side of your watch. If you tilt your watch, the direction will be pointed towards that direction. Consult Cote d\'Azur if you have that on your watch...

How do I set the day on a Cote d' Azur watch I purchased on a Royal Carribbean Cruise

Are you shure you CAN set the date? Most of these watches are fake. I got one at a NCL cruise. For its price, it's fake. So it is not fully functionally. It only shows the time. The date mark is not real on my watch

Cote d' Azur Quartz Watch---does it have a battery---we can not get it to work!

When I read the original question, the heading said "Boluva", I don't think that this is the case and I haven't been able to find a makers' web site for Cote d'Zure watches.

I suggest the next step is to take it to a jewelers (if you think it is worth spending some money on it), to ask them to look at it to find out why it isn't working.

I had a similar experience some time ago and I had it cleaned and it ran for many years.

I bought a cote d'azur watch and didn't comne withinstructions

if you take this watch apart and look at the backside, the side buttons are not connected. and there are NO workings for the "neet" time, date and hr hands, so the ONLY setting the watch has is the time. pop the back off and see for yourself, you can also buy these watches on EBAY for 5.00
good luck

Can't get my croton watch to work.

There are a few possible reasons why your watch is not working:
  1. The battery is dead (sometimes even new watches have a dead battery in them).
  2. The plastic piece between the crown and the watch case was not removed (this protects the battery from wearing down until you receive the watch).
  3. You bought a watch with a damaged movement and it just will not work period so you may have to return it, exchange it, or have it repaired
These are the 3 reasons why your watch could not be working. The reason will fall into one of these 3 categories, so I hope this helps!
