Protect error on model # CD BA200 Sharp Stereo

If you are a technician desolder the Audio amplifier IC,and check if the stereo turn on but with no sound.If the stereo turn on the audio amplifier IC is in short circuit and need to be replaced.

My Sharp model no. CD-BA250 is displaying "protect". It will not turn off on or anything!! How do i clear it out to fix the problem.

Disconnect your speaker boxes. If the "protect" error goes, then the speakers or wires may be at fault. If the error remains, most likely the audio output IC is blown.

Won't start up

"Protect" error could mean one or both of the output IC's are defective. This can be caused if the speakers or the wiring have shorted. Try the unit without the speakers to see if it starts up.
