Ipod the sound isnt working on my ipod and i've reset it and everything, but it still isnt working. what should i do?

If you've already tried resetting the iPod, you might want to also try using a different pair of headphones to see if you encounter the same problem. While this may not necessarily resolve this specific issue, defective headphones can be one of the most common reasons why you would not hear audio playback. Additionally, you may wish to also try updating the system software on the iPod itself. In some cases, damaged or outdated software files may prevent the iPod from correctly playing songs.

Should resetting the iPod, trying different headphones/speakers and updating system software not work, you may then need to contact your local iPod repair facility for further assistance.
