My Ipod keeps displaying the wrong album artwork when i'm listening to music

That's because it's really wrong. If you have the correct album artwork saved on your computer, this is the way to fix it.
1. Open iTunes.
2. Select Music.
3. Right-click on the song with incorrect album artwork.
4. Select "Get Info" to open the song properties.
5. Select the "Artwork" tab, which happens to be the last tab.
6. Delete the wrong artwork that you see there and replace it by clicking "Add..." button and locating the correct artwork from your computer.
Another way of replacing it is to open the correct album artwork (from your computer), right click on the image and select "Copy". and then go back to song properties on iTunes and paste it by clicking CTRL-V (control, then V) from Windows keyboard or Command-V (command, then V) from Mac keyboard.
7. Finally, click the "Ok" button to save your changes.
BTW, you can also modify the song title, and the lyrics from the song properties.
I hope that solves your problem.

How to get album art?

  1. Click on "Advanced" which is found at the top of the screen. Select "Get Album Artwork" from the drop down menu. It will ask you "Are you sure you want to get album artwork?" Hit "Get Album Artwork". Before you do that, you can select "Don't ask me again" if you don't want this to pop up in the future.
  2. Wait until it is done searching for the artwork. A window will pop up saying that it either found all artwork or they didn't. If they did, then great, your done, plug in your iPod and start jamming. But if they didn't, you can still jam away, but check the song title, album name, artist, and genre to see if you got it typed in correctly. Type in what they are supposed to be and try again.
  3. If they still can't find it, then you can add them manually. Look at the link below to find out how to do it manually.
OR
If Itunes wont find the art work:
  1. Find the artwork for the album on the internet. Try using Wikipedia. Click on the artwork to get a larger image. If you can't find it there, I'm sure you can find it using Google images. Anyway, once you find it drag it to your desktop. Make sure it is on there before you continue.
  2. Next, you need to highlight the songs that are in the album you are getting artwork for. To highlight multiple songs, click on the first song and then while holding the shift key click on the last song. To highlight multiple songs that aren't grouped together, click on all the songs while holding the command key on a Mac and ctrl key on a PC.
  3. Now go to "File" then "Get Info". A window will pop up asking you if you want to edit multiple items. Click "Yes". Another window will pop up labeled "Multiple Item Information". You will notice a box on the right hand side of the window that says "Artwork". Click and drag the artwork that is on your desktop into that box. It should appear there. When it does, select "Ok".
  4. When it is done processing, plug your iPod into the computer, sync it, and take your iPod out to start listening to your improved music.

How to add album artwork, lyrics to your iTunes (iPod Touch and iPhone) songs.

This is what the iPod app looks like (sideways - coverflow view) with the correct album artworks in each song.

... isn't that lovely?

To have that, this is what you gotta do:

First, you need to have the correct album artwork of your songs. And how do you know if you got the right album artwork?

Check it out here or you can use this web address:
http://lyrics.wikia.com/Green_Day:Dookie_(1994)

Tip: if you want a larger image, just google it, just like this sample. And another thing, you don't need to save all the artworks on your computer, just copy-paste will do (refer number 6 below).

Just make the artwork available for you to copy from your internet browser.

Now that you have the correct artwork, here's what you need to do next:

Take note that the procedure will be the same for both Mac and Windows.

1. Open iTunes.

2. Select Music.

3. Right-click on the song where you want to add/replace the album artwork.

4. Select "Get Info" to open the song properties.

5. Select the "Artwork" tab, which happens to be the last tab.

6. Add the correct artwork or delete any wrong artwork that you see there and replace it, by clicking "Add..." button and locating the correct artwork from your computer.

Another way of adding/replacing the artwork is to open the correct album artwork from your files or like I've mentioned above, straight from the internet (thru google or wherever), right click on the image and select "Copy". and then go back to song properties on iTunes and paste it by clicking CTRL-V (control, then V) from Windows keyboard or Command-V (command, then V) from Mac keyboard.

7. Finally, click the "Ok" button to save your changes.

Adding or replacing lyrics will take the same steps except that there is no "Add..." button there, only copy-paste or type it yourself.

Tip: it'll be easier if you do all of these stuffs simultaneously.

8. After you've fixed the song properties, sync your iPhone / iPod Touch to iTunes.

And you're all done! Congratulations!

IPod nano (3rd generation) not syncing

What seems to have happened is that either iTunes or the iPod folder has become corrupt. To solve this, download the very latest version of iTunes, install it, connect your iPod. If it wants to update the software on your iPod do this. Then on the main ipod page on iTunes click the button that says Restore. Choose the bottom most option if given any then go ahead and restore. You should now be able to sync as normal.

All the best

IPod nano (3rd generation) not syncing

This is the advice I tell everyone.. Don't use the iTunes library!
There are times when you do need to use it, but 98% of everything you need to do can be done right on the iPod.

When you plug-in your iPod, you should see an icon for it appear in the left window pane. You can actually edit the song info, sort, categorize, or whatever right there.

The only thing you can't do is get iTunes to automatically download the artwork for you. But, to be honest, even when I do use the library to get my artwork, the artwork never "sticks" when I move it to the iPod, and I end up manually adding it every time.

I've had an iPod in some form for at least three years now. I've never had a problem editing directly on the iPod itself, and I don't miss the library one bit.

Hope this helps.
