When switch on comes up with upgrade RSC files

My MP3 player will not do anything and just keeps coming up with the same message please upgrade RSC files

    i bought mine today after energy upload of 2 hours i intaleed and updated to versieon 3.06 nevertheless the bloody thing keeps on saying please update rsc file it a bummer

    exactly the same problem :( reinstalled the software that came with it, clicked yes when asked to install updates the works. completely out of ideas if anyone can help?

I would go ahead and do the firmware upgrade from Samsung's website - make sure you enter in your EXACT model # - including the part after the YP-T10. The RSC (resource) files need updating, and I can't think of a better way to do that than to upgrade the firmware. There is a small possibility that you have files on there with expired DRM licenses, but I would try firmware upgrade first.

Samsung T-10
Look in Prog Files/Samsung/Samsung Media Studio/temp2/firmware - the cab file contains the upgrade files. Copy then across to the T10.

Unplug the T10 and switch back on, it should update the firmware. Switch it back on each time it switches off until the update is complete.

This link should have the firmware upgrade that you need - if you correct the firmware upgrade link and not some other link, then it will not prompt you to do anything with Windows Media Player 11.
