Hello,
I seem to have a problem with my Craig MP4 Player.Whenever I try to download songs onto it,there is always a pop-up that says"please insert disc".But the problem is that, the disc for downloading will not fit into my computer drive. Is there a possible way that i could download music on to it without having to use the disc for it??Please give me back a solution for this problem.

Thank You Very Much And Have A Good Day.

Hi,

If you are referring to "...the disc for downloading will not fit into my computer drive...", as to mean that the installer CD is physically small, it should normally work with most of todays CD ROM. If for some reason it will not fit, then you can borrow an external CD ROM with USB attachments.

Alternately, you can download and install in your PC. However, to my knowledge, the driver (whether downloaded or CD) is only required if you are using Windows 98.

If what you mean is that your hard drive is so full that no additional programs/software can be installed, then an additional HD (internal or external) should work out.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

I have a Craig mp4 player and when I try to sync music onto it some of the songs say " Did not fit on device" Why?? And what can I do to change it?

This is because the songs literally cannot fit onto your player. Songs, like all files, take up a certain amount of digital space. Craig MP4 players generally are small in space, usually ranging from 1-4GBs, which will not get you far if you have a lot of songs. The only real solutions for this without buying a new MP3/MP4 player is to be more selective with the songs you put onto it. There is not a way to change the amount of songs something can hold, so you just have to put less onto it. Also, If you put videos onto it, get rid of those first because videos take up way more space than songs.

If you want more space, I would recommend a 8GB or 16GB music player, those are satisfactory for most people with a lot of songs.

Also, for now you could try downgrading the audio quality, which will reduce the file size, effectively making more songs able to fit onto your player, but I would not recommend this because it does create a noticeably worse audio quality.

I bought my son a "MP4 player, Augen is the Manufactor or model. Will you tell me how to download music to it. I have downloaded a few songs but get this message- "format error"

Hello,

the reason its showing format error is because the songs you downloaded into it is not compatible with the player. For example, if the song you were suppose to download was to be in AAC format, and you put MP3 format, it will show format error because it does not recognize songs in Mp3 format but with AAC format.

Therefore, when you want to download songs into the Mp4 player, make sure the songs are in either WMA or MP3 Audio format. These audio formats are compatible with Mp4 player.

Also, if you want to download videos, make sure they are in MP4 format.

I wish you good luck.

I can't seem to download songs onto my mp4 player

Your Coby player is not compatible with iTunes. What you will have to do is to download the songs from iTunes, and, provided the songs do NOT have copy protection on them (possibly unlikely), you will need to download a free program like Media Monkey to convert the songs to Mp3 format. Once the songs are converted to mp3 format, you can use either Media Monkey or Windows Media Player to transfer the songs to your mp3 player.

CRAIG MP4 plus video player- disk error message appears.

make sure the songs you download are right for your mp4 player because Limewire only plays mp3 songs. so i would go on the internet and find a music site that has mp4 songs
