You need to go to the TomTom web site and register, then you can download the necessary software install that and THEN & only then connect up your GPS, with the USB cable, & turn on. Then you will be able to update it. Via the internet.
replace the sd car tap on change preferences than tap switch map than tap india if the map is not working you can download it from www.thepiratepay.org
Your card is an SDHC, your camera supports only SD/MMC cards. I know this because i found thisp ostlooking for a way to make it accept SDHC cards, a software update could easily work in theory but someone would have to write that update. Technology changes fast doesnt it.
I would call tomtom and see if they can send you a new battery sounds like it might be bad,is the green light showing that's it charging?if so and the battery isn't holding a charge I would call them and say that it went bad about 2 months ago.Good luck
I deleted TomTom Home from my computer. I downloaded a version of Home just for Mac OS 10.4 users and rebooted. Then I followed the directions and it downloaded all of my maps, etc to the original TT SD card. I also set up my cell phone with a bluetooth connection.
Didn't need to reformat the new SD card I had bought because the original card had enough room for everything.
