Breadman bread machine is not kneading.Drive shaft is not turning. What now?

If you are comfortable doing so unplug the unit and then take the bottom panel (underneath) off and see if the belt has snapped or come off. If yes you will need to replace the belt, reattach the belt.

It is not mixing all the way. Nothing is jammed. 3 loaves now have not come out, because clearly it hasn't been mixed thoroughly, like it used to. No burning motor smell.

This can be caused by a few things.
1. Check the bread kneading paddle(s). Make sure that it fits properly and is not slipping on the drive shaft. Also look for cracks in the paddle blade hub.

2. Check the bread pan coupler and drive pan bearings (link is a picture reference only of a USED part. http://cgi.ebay.com/Breadman-bread-machine-TR2200-Parts-Coupler-/200535459633?pt=Small_Kitchen_Appliances_US&hash=item2eb0d84731 (klunking sound usually noted if this part has failed)

3. Inside the bottom of the unit check the belt tensioner. (Picture reference only!)

Usually if there is a belt or tensioner problem you will note a lot of rubber pieces in the bottom of the unit.

I do not know when to take out the kneading paddle out of the breadman TR555LC. If not taken out, the Kneading paddle will stay in the bread itself after bake.

you leave the kneeding blade inside , i now its a pain but thats how it is when youve baked your bread you turn the tin upside down and tap the loaf out but theres a hole where the needer has been ,,i have looked at every bread machine on the market and there all the same.....

Used the breadman successfully 6 days ago. today; nothing happens. Window states "knead" but nothing happens at all.

Are you making a different kind of bread than you did the first time?. If so some machine programs have a delay before they start kneading such as the whole wheat cycle. Also some machines delay the kneading process while they warm up the ingredients. If it is colder where you live now than itw was 6 days ago that could be a factor.

If the motor shaft is not spinning with the bread pan out of the machine it could be the belt has fallen off the pulley, or has snapped. The belt and pulley are inside the base of the machine. Hank

Bread pan pops out during the kneading 2 cycle

I had a similar problem after using the same machine for several years. It worked well for years and then popped off the shaft whenever I had a rather stilll dough. To solve the problem I bent the clips on each side of the bread pan that hold the pan into the machine up and toward the center of the machine. I did not use any tools to do the bending. It solved the problem. The pan no longer jumps up out of the clips and off of the shaft.

one thing that i do is i lube the shaft with cooking oil and that seems to work getting the paddle out but for nor not tearing the bread you have to remember that it is baked into it

This site has bands/belts for breadmakers. I am buying my new paddle for the tr900s breadman pro from there. Perhaps your belt is broken? I personally have never replaced one, but it should not be too hard. Make sure you unplug the breadmaker before opening it up at all.

Try running the breadmaker with no pan in it and see if the paddle shaft turns at all during the cycle. Also, the paddle will not turn at all in the first 30 minutes of certain cycles, like the whole wheat. This is stated on the time chart of the instruction manual for this model.

Sounds strange. Usually the paddle has a key (the shape of it is irregular and it fits into the sleeve on the spindle or shaft) Either the shape has worn and it no longer fits or the spindle or shaft is not turning with the motor which could mean that the connection with the armature of the motor is damaged.

You could contact the manufacturers or ask afriend to examine it for you which would need taking it apart.
