Hi, I have purchased COby DVD player from US.. I cannot play any dvd as it says..'Wrong Regional Code' ..Can you tell me how to fix the issue?

set the regional setting on global,

it can be dawnload from the manufacture webcite.

try running an optical disk cleaner it worked for me but I have to clean often.........a cheap fix if it works.

With remote control and player stopped,
press setup, vol+, vol-, vol+, vol-
Use arrow keys to select region 1-6 or 255 for all region.
Numbers appear on TV screen.
Press setup again to save and exit

Try this to make it multiregion. It should work.

1. Press SETUP
2. Press FFW, F REW, NEXT, PREVIOUS
3. Change the code to 255 using the RIGHT arrow key

This will unlock the DVD player for all regions.

you can reset the settings through the menu, its under the advanced option in the menu. however, its not a regional error, if it was in the wrong region, it would say wrong region and not wrong disk, try putting the region back to 1 or 0 or 9, 1 is USA, 9 and 0 are all regions.

I have nexxt tech dvd 161-1000, I have the same prblem " Wrong Disc", I cleaned the lense, still same...Pls advice
